Competition carbine configuration of the lever-action Model 1873 rifle with barrel band, color case hardened carbine buttplate, saddle ring and walnut stock. Drilled/tapped for an optional receiver mounted peep sight.


The Model 1873 is widely credited as being “The Gun that Won the West®.” This classic model was chambered in the popular handgun calibers of the day and it’s been produced in carbine, rifle and musket models. Specifically, the action has been performance-tuned and modified with a shorter, smoother lever stroke to make cycling faster when you're competing against the clock.

Even with the performance-focused extras, never forget that this is a genuine Winchester Repeating Arms® Model '73 with an oil-finished walnut stock, color case hardened carbine strap buttplate and a 20" round barrel with a full-length magazine, just like the original. Receiver rear tang is drilled and tapped for optional peep sight (sight not included).
